Apparently the story behind these leak photos is that Laure took these pictures for her former lover, an Italian swimmer named Luca Marin, and Marin is supposedly the person who leaked these on the Internet. The Olympian had a photo huge scandal after her ex-boyfriend reportedly posted 20 nude photos and a racy video on the internet. These events occurred in December 2007, hours after she split with the Italian swimmer Luca Marin.
Manaudou will compete in four events at Beijing: 400M freestyle, 100M and 200M backstroke and 4 x 100M Medley. Click on pictures to enlarge.
Laure Manaudou took the pictures of herself without clothes on for her boyfriend, and Italian swimmer, Luca Marin. Laure and Marin had an ugly public break-up at a recent swim meet in Hungary. The pictures of Laure without clothes appeared just hours after the two split. There is also rumored to be a video, and currently it appears there is no real video only the rumor. Marin said when asked about the photos:
"I know nothing about the video and have only seen the photos. Yes, it looks like it’s really her but it is ridiculous to think that it was me who put them there. They (the allegations) are inventions. I only said that she had done a very rude thing (by throwing the ring away) and that I was happy she was no longer my girlfriend."
Laure was so mad she threw the ring away Marin gave her. Harsh. Lauren said in response to questions about the pictures:
"I’ve decided not to talk about my personal life anymore. I would prefer to keep silent about it at this point."
Manaudou currently holds the world record for the 400 m freestyle and 200 m freestyle.
She won the gold medal in the women's 400 m freestyle at the 2004 Athens Olympics. It was France's first ever gold medal in women's swimming and the first swimming gold medal won by a French man or woman since Jean Boiteux's triumph in the 400 m men's freestyle event in Helsinki in 1952. Manaudou won the silver medal in the women's 800 m freestyle at the same Olympics. In that race, she had a quick start but was passed down the stretch by Ai Shibata from Japan. She took the bronze medal at the women's 100 m backstroke. She thus became only the second Frenchwoman to win three medals in a single Summer or Winter Olympic Games, the first being was the track and field athlete Micheline Ostermeyer in London in 1948.
She is currently tied for second (three medals altogether) on the all-time list of French multiple female Winter or Summer Olympic medal winners along with Micheline Ostermeyer, Marielle Goitschel, Pascale Trinquet-Hachin, Perrine Pelen, Anne Briand-Bouthiaux, Marie-José Pérec, Jeannie Longo-Ciprelli and Félicia Ballanger. The all-time leader is the fencer Laura Flessel-Colovic, who has five Olympic medals. blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com
