The murder trial of music producer Phil Spector ended in a mistrial Wednesday because of a deadlocked jury. The mistrial came on the 12th day of deliberations on whether Spector murdered actress Lana Clarkson more than 4 1/2 years ago. The 12-member panel had heard about five months of testimony.
In the courtroom today, the jury foreperson told the judge that they were deadlocked 10 - 2-- with 10 jurors voting for a guilty verdict.Prosecutors charged Spector with the murder of actress Lana Clarkson nearly five years ago. Spector's attorneys had argued Clarkson committed suicide.Can a celebrity ever be convicted in LA? This dude is guilty as sin, everyone knows he shot that girl in her head. Celebrities are free to kill at will in Hollywood.
